How to Find the IP Address of a Printer
Video Rating: 4 / 5

  1. this video is about “how to find the IP of THE printer”, not A printer. your printer is already installed and defined. but if you would like to add a new printer, how would you figure out its IP address to write it down in the field [printer name or IP address] ?

  3. Ok, so I haven’t looked under ports yet…grandpa having trouble with printer…and not at his house, but I do remember not seeing an IP in the location. But what does this mean? Why do we need to look for this? I’m just asking this because I cannot figure out what is wrong with his printer. The light continuously blinks, and when printing it says at the top of window it is offline, but when I look the Offline option is UNCHECKED. so frustrating!

  7. It seems so simple, unless you get “An Error occured during port configuration. Access denied”

  16. Most likely the printers at your work are controlled via domain and they don’t want you messing with them. Or the printer driver installation is borked.
